Does this sound like seizures?
My husband is active duty Army. While deployed to Afghanistan in May of 2010 he got really sick and passed out twice. During one of those times he hit his head. He returned in June 2010 and saw his doctor for follow up. The doctor believes he had meningitis because since this whole thing happened he has headaches every single day and sometimes even migraines.
Aside from the daily headaches he suffers from decreased ability to concentrate, decreased short term memory and these spells that are very unusual. He passed out in our bedroom once due to stress. When he woke he was shivering cold and almost incoherant. He had difficulty understanding me and couldnt really speak. We had another episode the other day except no passing out. Its as if the lights are on but no one's home sort of thing. He barely speaks to me, when I talk he says "its hard to understand because of the cobwebs". This is during the worst of the headache.
Im sorry to pose this question here but a friend suggested that this could be seizures he's experiencing. I am interested in any and all suggestions. Thanks!
FYI: He has had an MRI and CT scan that came back normal, however he isnt normal.
