Question Epilepsy????
Hi,
I have been told by my neurologist that he suspects that I have epilepsy. My EEG indicated this along with my bouts of amnesia and disorientation. I also have times when I have myoclonic jerks. I am having an ambulatory EEG within the next couple of weeks. Does anyone else have something like this?
Does anyone know what the treatment would be or whether or not this could have a lasting effect? Any help would be very appreciated.

That's in the doctors hands. I'd guess a medication and see how it does. Different meds work for different situations. Such as the type of seizure, and where in the brain they occur.

I can't even try to guess what they would start with. I'd guess one drug and then see how it works.
