Seizures...

A year ago, at the age of almost 31, i had my first seizure. Was put on dilantin for 6 months and had no more problems until I had a second grand mal 2 months ago. No cause for it was ever found between the bloodwork, tox screen, ekg, eeg, head ct, & chest x-rays. I had a wild lifestyle during my 20's and am wondering if alcohol problems and recreational drug use with a sleep disorder on top of it can permanently short circuit something in the brain?

something else i thought of after reading some more about partial seizures sounds alot like the strange dreams i have and never remember when im trying to sleep and not really going into more than a very light sleep. now i start to wonder if ive been having partial siezures in my sleep for years and just putting it off to insomnia.
