Question Ebv

Hi,

Since there is no place specifying, EBV, thought I would post here and if I should post somewhere else, hope someone will tell me.

I've been getting re-occurring infections for years. I have R/R MS along with a whole slew of other diseases. I was just tested for EBV and wonder why only 2 out of the 3 antibodies are positive. Mono is negative.

The labwork says:
EBV AB Panel EBV VCA IGM AB negative
EBV VCA IGG AB Positive at >5.00
EBV AB Panel EBV NUCLEAR ANTIGEN (EBNA) AB (IGG) positive at >5.00

For all 3, the referance ranges are:
< OR = 0.90 NEGATIVE
0.91 - 1.09 EQUIVOCAL
> OR = 1,10 POSITIVE - ANTIBODY DETECTED

The reason I was tested was abdominal ultrasound showed an enlarged liver and spleen

Does this mean I am in active EBV cuz I have an infection now.

Anyone get positive results keeping it at bay or in remission and whish to share their treatments?

Thanks
