| Transfer Factor for CFIDS/CFS? (EBV, CMV, HHV6)
Hi all--I've been posting questions on anti-virals here. Have neglected to mention that I've been on Transfer Factor for over 3 months (Immune Care 64, specific to CMV, HHV6 and EBV) Has anyone else used Transfer Factor for CFIDS/CFS and what have your experiences been? I went on it in the first place when I went into a bad relapse after a severe stomach flu 5 months ago. I know I test positive to HHV6 and CMV, though not EBV, and thought maybe the flu reactivated one or more of these viruses. Anyway, I had the week or two of "flu like symptoms" after starting the TF, which is supposed to be a good sign. But after 3 months on it, my stamina has nose-dived even further...have had to take a leave of absence from my private practice, which I was doing really part time anyway. I seem to be getting worse "flu like symptoms" AGAIN, and I don't know if it's a result of the TF or some other stressor. Anyway, any input appreciated! Thanks.
