Once you get herpes of any type, they remain in your body and flare up at any time.....Herpe virus's do not go away. But you can try and get your immune system back up and put them back into dormancy.
You have high titers for Epstein Barr. Some doctors claim that they can cause many problems even if they are in dormancy. You might see if your doctor will put you on 1,000 mg's of Valtrex. (antiviral) This is what I have been on for the last couple of years. I have EBV, CMV, and another type of herpe. I was told by MANY doctors that they were nothing to worry about. They have gotten up behind my eyes, in the lining of my skull and blood vessels, tendons ect. I had my muscles invaded with them...and was having a very hard time walking and such.....I am doing far better now....
If you have a doctor that says don't worry about them and you are having symptoms then try to find one that will listen to you.
