Toning workout for a girl

I need a good toning workout... but I don't know where to start?

I am 23 years old and I weigh about 105 lb. I am happy with my weight, and with my figure. All I want to do is tone up and define my arms and my abs and buns and thighs a little more.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what type of work out would be best for my body type? And would give me that toned look I want?

Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Well, I want to order Winsor Pilates. It seems like it works; it looks like it tones your body. They say it "sculpts your body slim". That's all I can think of..

Hello, A cople good sets of dumbbells. I like my Cindy Crawford tape, because she offers a 15 min. workout for days when you just don't have the time for a full work out. I also LOVE my "Kickbutt Kickboxing" tape, because it includes an aerobic section, a weight section, and an ab section. For Cindy Crawford's tape, you need a set of 6 lbs. (3 lbs. in each hand) dumbbells and a deck of cards. For the Kickbutt tape, you need a set of 10-20 lbs. (5-10 lbs. per hand.)bumbells.

I started off with a 2 lbs. (1 lbs. in each hand) and it was too light. Then I switched to the 6 lbs. set and am now on the 10 lbs. set with the two tapes. I use a 20 lbs. set without the tapes. You tone up really fast when you add the weights.

A friend of mine likes the pilates too. They tried to show me, but I like fast paced stuff...Maybe I am a little hyper.

Hello, Yes, I've gotten excellent results with these tapes. I've actually have nice lean muscles on my arms and abs. I've never had muscles before. I'm also two sizes smaller than I was in college, but I weight 5 lbs. more. (College - 110 lbs., Now- 115; College - size 8, Now - size 6) I didn't start the tapes until I was 30, so at that time I weighed 120 lbs. before I started the tapes. I'm 41 now. It really didn't take long to see the results either...Only 3 months. The videos work for me, because I really need to have someone to follow. If I try to do it on my own, I don't do enough of certain types of exercise. I also don't feel like driving to a gym.

The tricks that I have found that work for me are...1. I really have to be consistant.- Exercise every day, but don't bash myself if I need to skip a few days due to female stuff...2. I have to exercise when it is conveinent (bad spelling girl) for me.- I exercise when everyone in the house is sleeping, so there are no interuptions and no rude comments from the peanut gallery...3. I have a variety of tapes, so I am doing the weight barring exercises every other day and aerobic exercises on non-weight days.
