Hi,
I'm 62, female and overweight by 60 lbs. I've had a total left knee replacement and have an arthritic right knee. My ortho
strongly recommended
that I no longer use my treadmill, even in moderation, as it will wear the new parts out
more quickly and I'll have to have the operation repeated sooner.
What cardio vascular excersises are there that will take the place of brisk walking to get my heart rate up to burn calories?
Can anyone recommend a video tape or any other way,
aside from walking, that has been just as effective in raising the heart rate, without the above walking or jogging?
I'm desperate!
Ali
