timing of when to exericise

I work a full 9 hour day and come home and relax a bit, and eat dinner, all by 8 or 8:30 pm. I just bought a Gazelle and want to use it. Would it be OK to do 1/2 hour of it (to begin with) say, around 8:30 or 9 pm? Would that interfere with my sleep? I go to bed around 11:30 pm. There is no way I can do in the morning because of a situation not in my control.

Re: timing of when to exericise

It *shouldn't* be a problem, but you'll have to see how your body reacts to it. I'm usually ok as long as I leave 1 hour between cardio and sleep times.

Yes, we are all different. I could never have only one hour between cardio and sleep time. I am to wound up. I need about 4 hours.

What is a gazelle? It is like an elliptical machine? I am so curious.
I work-out at night, but I notice if I do too much cardio I don't fall asleep right away! I think your body would get use to it, though.

Do a quick search on the Internet for a description and picture. The gazelle seems to provide a wide range of motion (though not all may be natural for the body) and it's advertised as a low-impact exercise machine. I've never used one before, but if I had to choose between the gazelle and the elliptical, I would prefer the latter to meet my personal fitness needs.
