Hi everyone. Whenever i do crunches for a while, my neck starts to feel tired and strained and makes me not want to do crunches anymore because its hard to hold up my head. I try not to use my neck during crunches, but it still strains. Help would be appreciated thanks.
Are you keeping your elbows out to the side or wrapping them around your head? If you are pulling on your neck, even a little, by wrapping your elbows around your head, that will cause neck pain and even injury. Keep your elbows flat out, in the same plane with each other and use your abs to lift your head.
