I am on my 15th week (I believe) of doing Winsor Pilates, 3-5 times a week. Ever since week 5 though, I've also been doing cardio on an elliptical 2 or 3 times a week. So far I've lost 6lbs, and it doesn't seem like much--I wish it were more, but I feel okay about it because this is the only thing that I find actually works for me! I've tried basic weight training plus cardio, and I didn't lose any weight... I think I'm going to begin doing a little bit of weight training as well though, and maybe it would speed up the fat loss. Good luck!

I have been doing Winsor Pilates for almost 3 months now....about 2-3 times per week. I only did the 20 min tape for the first 3 weeks. Since then I have been doing the Accelerated video. I added this to my already existing routine of 60 min cardio 4-5 days per week and 3 days of weight training. I have noticed most difference in my core body strength. It has really helped my abs and lower back strength and slimmed my thighs. I gave the 20 min video to my friend and she loves it also
Last April i started doing the 50 nminute tape. By the beginning of june i got pants on that i could not even get over my hips in march. I did it about 4 times a week and did not change my eating habbits. I now have about 8 windsor tapes and love them. the only problem now is that my body got so used to it that not i have to throw some cardio in there, but i saw great results
The first weeks I did the 20 min video, I lost 1 1/2 inches off my waist and an inch off each thigh. However I cannot say it was only from the pilates...I really shaped up my diet in those weeks and was still doing my regular cardio. i noticed the most difference with the "side kicks" series. In my opinion I think you could see some results with doing only the videos and nothing else. But when you combine it with cardio and good diet it really works wonders. I think the best thing was my posture has improved alot...because all of the core work makes your back stronger.
Hi , I was thinking about starting pilates, I've been on atkins now for about 73 days and Im down 29 pounds, I see a huge difference in my body since I do take pictures every 20-30 days. I do 20 minutes a day on my rower and I was wondering if 20 minutes a day on the rower and the pilates is enough to get abs?
Thanks, any help would be highly appreciated
