Weight Maintenance

Hi, I've been reading everywhere that an hour of walking a day is good for losing weight, etc, etc. Well, I just want to maintain weight. Can I maintain weight by half an hour of brisk walking (4 mph) a day?

Long time ago I had ten extra pounds I wanted to shed. Daily walking did nothing for me. Once I started biking and swimming that's when the pounds started coming off. Since you want to maintain your weight rather than losing pounds, walking may do it.

It's all about the calories. If you are eating as much as you burn each day, then you will maintain. If walking is what it takes to get to taht point, then yes.
