question about eggs

I don't really know anything about eggs, i just want to know how to separte the yolk from the white, will i get the same protien if i boil the egg and then take the yolk out?

They make a little "yolk seperator" that you can get from any Bed Bath and Beyond (or probably Wal-Mart too). Or you can just carefully crack in half and empty the white into a bowl while keeping the yolk in the shell. Or you can crack it onto a bowl and carefully pull the yolk out with your fingers. Boiling and then removing will accomplish the same thing. That's how I eat my eggs in the morning for convenience. (6 whites, 1 whole)

I crack the egg into a bowl and scoop the yolk out with a regular table spoon
