I was just curious if anyone had any great songs they like for working out and weight lifting? I like to put something on that motivates me and gets me in the mood to workout. I've been listening to System of a down and disturbed quite a bit when i'm lifting.
Seems to help me get those last failure reps in.
anyone have any great suggestions or tunes they really like when they're working out.
and yeah i know it's a little off topic, but i'm still talking about working out.
The disc I've got in my MD player has some great workout tunes on it. Here's what I've been jamming to lately:
Never Again (Nickelback)
I Hate Everything About You (Three Days Grace)
Remember (Disturbed)
Bring Me To Life (Evanescence)
Man In The Box (Alice In Chains)
Thunderkiss '65 (White Zombie)
Headstrong (Trapt)
Alive (POD)
I can't remember what else, but there's about 50 minutes worth on there-- that way, if I hear the same song twice, I know my workout is running a little long.

Clutch, Mindless self indulgence, Tomahawk, Dope, Down, Superjoint Ritual, Misfits, Zombie, KMFDM, Nine, Evergrey, ... all great gym tunes. I have a 40G mp3 player. Just set it on "shuffle" and go.

Scooter that's so cool we lift to some of the same tunes P.O.D. "alive",Evanescence.
I LOVE "The Game" by disturbed, everytime i hear that just makes me want to work out even harder. I've got one Cd that's got Papa Roach, System of a Down, Megadeth,Metallica,Three Day Grace and the last part of the Cd is old 80's glam tune rockers that i grew up on back in my high school years LOL
thanks for the replies we got some good choice so far. I was thinking about some Zombie tunes "Living Dead Girl" rocks !! and of course the FIRST Alice in chains album. I was thinking when your doing your failure reps and you don't feel like you can workout anymore something like "the rooster" would be a good song.
Pantera, Slayer, Godsmack, System, Iced Earth, Stratovarius, Hammerfall, Grip Inc., Sepultura, Symphony X...uhh I'll think of more as soon as I register this post
talk to ya later

I've got some of the same songs you guys have. P.O.D., System of a Down, Greenday, Blink 182 ('cuz i run some, too.). "Without me" by eminem, nothing like a little attitude, some Prince, Foo Fighters, Lenny Kravitz, the Pimps, some Limp Biskit... I have to admit, I've never heard of a lot of the bands listed.
I change my MP3 songs every couple of weeks, so I never get bored!
Ok, ok, I have a ton of mixed up music matches, but whatever my mood & my 'tude, I've got the tune to match!
