so you just eat tuna?? is there a limit. i can probably eat 15 cans a day. i would gain weight on this diet. not to mention the mercury!
This sounds interesting, i think i might give it a go. But how much should i eat? I buy the packets because they taste better than the cans. I know its 3.5 servings in a packet, so eating 3 packets a day along with water, would that be sufficient? Would this be all i eat? No fruits/vegs/etc? Thanks

I can not imagine that this would be healthy. It is hardly balanced nutrition let alone allowing yourself the "extras" of junk food here and there. I would suggest just eating healther and getting more exercise if you want to lose weight. If I tried a diet like this, I would end up bindging later on.
Yeah, like I said before I wouldn't go on this diet longer than 3 days. It isn't to reach any goals such as losing weight or gaining weight, I just use it because afterwards I feel clean as a whistle, kind of like a fresh start.

Well, I've eaten about 2-3 cans of tuna a day for the last 5 years and after reading someone else's post on mercury levels in fish (I think it was Naxis) I went to the doc's to get my merc levels checked just outta curiousity. They said they were fine, just slightly above average but not anywhere near the point of having to change my diet. I eat tons of fish besides tuna as well just out of the lake at my house: Walleye, Pike, Trout, Bass etc. But that's not to say that it's unsubstantiated evidence, I could just be an exception. I'm going to go back every few months to routinely check on it to make sure it doesn't all of a sudden spike (since large spikes in mercury levels can have catastrophic effects) well anyways, that's just my experience
