My husband finally badgered me into trying it nearly a year ago. I am 52 lift moderate to heavy weights for strength and overall health. Found lifting does help increase the pituitary's production after menopause but my husband swears by using HGH it will help too. He is a traditional, historical blacksmith/swordsmith and at 64 wanted to keep his muscle tone up as well as his health. Finally started using it off and on for nearly a year now.
It does increase your skin thickness if yours has been thinning from age/perimeno/postmenopause. I do have more energy while lifting and overall. It will help with muscle buildup and fatloss. How much so, I cannot say for myself as I have been lifting for two years and over a year before using it as a suppliment. But I do seem to lift better with it. But that's me.
Anyway, the only side effects I get when going off is slightly more achiness in the mornings after a workout. Some tireness for the first couple of days and that's it. If off for a while, my skin does become thinner.
Thank you for your reply. A couple of things come to mind. What type would you suggest using, brand, form, etc., and I didn't know about the thickness. What exactly do you mean by skin thickness. Do you find your skin seems more resilient, stronger?
I was most interested in fat loss. I'm 33 and want to gain energy, overall health and lose about 10-14 lbs.
After menopause and a few years, I noticed my skin feeling and looking thinner. It did lose some elasticity and got wrinkly. I would get bad scratches easily after playing with my dogs. After using the HGH, the skin did become "thicker" and less likely to tear as badly. Of course, I am 52 now and wish my skin was like was at 33
I use Formula HGH and it comes in powdered form in a pill. Used to use Great American Products but they were having problems with delivery. Remember, this does not make natural HGH...what it is...is a natural enhancement suppliment to help your pituitary gland keep producing the hormone at similar levels when you were younger.
