Am I doing something wrong?

When I used to work out with weights, I'd feel sore in my arms and legs. The first week I started exercising about a month ago, I was sore. Now I feel nothing. I doubt I've plateaued already since I just got back into exercising after doing nothing for over a year. What do you all think? Am I exercising wrong? Or is not feeling sore a good thing?

Your muscles are just used to the work it has been doing so you now have to increase your weights.

reps, weight, form.....pick a weight where you can do 8 reps, but no more than 12 for 3 -4 sets

Just because you aren't getting sore doesn't mean you aren't lifting enough. The body simply adjusts itself to that kind of work. It's that way with any kind of physical activity a person isn't used too. Most people that are used to working out don't get sore from lifting so long as they have been doing it for some time. Just means your getting in better shape, it's a good thing.

If you are doing the exercised correctly and with enough amount weights your body can handle, then you're doing it right. The first couple of days you WILL get sore. After that your muscles are simply used to the routine. I lift weights 6 days a week and feel nothing the next day(unless I've tried a new exercise for a certain muscle). Trust me, it's all normal.
