It could just be that you've been training muscles/tendons in a way that makes them develop slightly differently to the normal structural kind of use for everyday movements.
Try doing proper warmup and thorough stretches for the hips and nearby muscles.
Equally, doing common, functional resistance exercises might reset the balance/equilibrium (like squats, lunges).
