Exercising 14x per week, once I reach my goal, then what?

I don't want to gain anything back, once I reach my goal of the physique/weight I'm looking for, do I have to continue the regime of twice a day, 7 days a week, or can i slow it down a lot, how does one best maintain their goal once they've reached it?

You can cut back, just reflect that in your diet by cutting calories back.

7 Days a week is a lot! I would imagine you are over training if you have been doing this any length of time (is this cardio and weigts?)

Yep, well at lunch I have about an hour to get to the gym, change, get in a quick weights routine, shower and get a sandwich to go on the way out. Then I stop at the gym after work on the way home and do hard cardio for usually 45 minutes give or take...usuaully until the "calories burned" on the machine reaches anywhere from 800 - 1200 depending on the night.
I started out doing it so much because I just moved here and I would be going insane without the gym. I don't know anybody, and especially now with the weather getting so bad, it's my little oasis (especially at night when i'm not rushed and have time for shooting hoops before and after, and a steamer before my shower). I've been told to take at least one day off, say sundays...which I do maybe once every 4-6 weeks, but it's still hard...if anything i'll just go in on that sunday to shoot hoops only, but i can't help but go up and do some cardio machines...
im pretty much addicted to it at this point. if i forget my gym bag at home when im at work (it's a long commute), my whole day goes out of wack and i get in a bad mood, so its probably that and my love of cereal at night that i've got to keep in check!

Ah, the exuberance of youth, how I miss it! The other golden rule of working out is if you get results dont change anything! However, if your reslts falter you have a good enough grasp of this to back off a little, not add more.

As a side note, I once trained a (drug free) powerlifter, 132lb male getting ready for a meet, he benched 30 days in a row prior to the meet. I begged him to stop. He went in and set a national record!
