How much body fat percentage should a male have to see some ab muscles?

Generally it's less than 10% body fat where you start to see definition.

Depends on how developed the abs are. I have people at 5% had no visible abs - of course thay had very small ab muscles - also depends on gender

Its also genetics, I know plenty of people with really low bodyfat and flat stomachs, but they don't have 6 packs.
