I have a question

I have 2 quick questions. Its it possible to loose muscle and still be strong if not even a little stronger? I ask this because I weighted 166 after I came back for the holidays (Im 6 foot, 20 yrs old). Now my weight always ranges from 158-162. I did a lot of cardio along with my regular lifting to loose the weight. I dunno if my mind is playing tricks on me or what but I feel like my arms are smaller yet I'm putting up as much weight and even more in some excersices. Also Since Ive lost the fat I am absolutly ripped ( I still was at 166 but you could def see some flab if I was sitting which isnt the case anymore). My abs have almost no fat on them so my 6 pack is clear as day. So my other question is should I stop doing cardio because I cant for the life of me figure out how people eat 2500 cals without eating bad foods, and some people say you should eat more, I cant really afford to loose more weight because it would most likly be muscle at this point. I dont wanna gain fat and get bulky. I just wanna gain a few pounds of muscle without anyfat. How should I go about doing this? Would two protien shakesa day be good?

Re: I have a question

sounds like you changed your body comp, gained some muscle and lost fat. As far as gaining muscle - it is next to impossible to gain only muscle or lose only fat (unless your are an untrained individual) To gain lean mass with minimal fat I would cut back on the cardio - 20 min 2-3 times per week with increasing intensity. Caloriies must be adjusted so you are in a surpluss of about 500 cals over your BMR. Protein should be kept 1-1.5 grams per body pound
