Creatine is a cell volumizer and it works to add extra "energy" (to make a long technical explanation short) It is good if the application is sprinting or powerlifting, something that requires explosive power. For the general lifter I believe its cost is not worth its benefit.
Start with a rock solid diet and multi vitamin/mineral. Next most valuable supplement is Proetin powders followed by Glutamine and BCAA's. Most supplements are just hype.
