Hey Yall-

I just started strippercise classes and I am totally loving them!! I've been to 3 so far. Class is 1 hour long and an incredible workout, especially for my core and it is SO MUCH FUN. I just wanted to see if anyone else here has even taken these crazy classes and what they think about them and if they know anything about the Pole Classes as well??

Oh my gosh that sounds like so much fun. I'm afraid that I weigh too much to be doin that though. Maybe when I get my weight down to a more reasonable figure.
That sounds fun though....But like Ding asked, do you actually strip? And is it held at a strip club? I can see how you'd burn calories though, that would be hard work, especially the pole work. (You said there's a seperate pole class?)

Jade....I've seen a commercial on TV about the strippercise video. I think it's Carmen Electra that does it.

Ding....No, you don't strip! Unless you are doing it at home in front of your boyfriend or hubby...hummm what a thought! Might have to incorporate that into my workout routine somehow! I don't think I'd get laughed at.

My gym doesn't offer that class, yet, but you never know! I'd sign up for it.

Hey guys. NO you don't get naked in class

You just kinda move your clothing around Although.... some do get a little crazy!! Thats too funny though. My classes are held at a gym not a club. It is just like an aerobics room.
I have seen the Carmen Electra tapes on TV also, they look pretty fun as well!! I will have to try them. I think is the whole idea of dancing like this in front of people that makes it so exciting so at home alone with a DVD prolly wouldnt be quite the same little rush.. but still great exercise I bet!!!
