That's a very valid question. Omegas are in EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids) which, while necessary nutrients, do come in the form of fat. All oils and fats have 9 calories per gram. If the supplement you're taking is in capsule form, chances are it's not more than 1 gram of oil in each. So it's not really a lot, but just something to consider. If it's in liquid form, then you're probably taking more volume wise. 1 Tbsp of oil has about 120 calories which definitely would need to be considered for your daily calories.
