Knee problem, can not bend it all the way back
i am having some prob with my right knee. i can not bend it without it causing me pain. i went to a sports injury doctor and he told me to get an xray.. which i did, as well as an mri . results came back showing nothing is wrong, but i know there is something very wrong. i can not go up stairs, at the gym i can not even do any of the leg machines, not even without any weights added. i can not do a deadlift or a squat. i cant peddle a bike.
it is a very sharp pain, as if there is something under the knee cap. the pain is at the top of the knee cap. the knee gives a cracking sound when i bend it.
doc says i need rehab but i dont think rehab alone would do anything, i dont have time/money to spend on it.. and i honestly just dont want to go. i would rather rehab it alone.
does this sound familiar to anyone? I am not sure what caused it, it happened a while ago when i was riding my bike, the pain never goes away, i just ignore it.
what should I do to help it? what sort of movements or things will they give me at rehab? does anyone have any experience?
