Want To Lose Muscle Mass

Hey. I'm Kelly.

Lately I've been lifting weights on my legs. At first, it was like the more I lifted, the slimmer and more toned my legs were.

Yesterday, after lifting, they just seemed so buff. I mean, its weird.

Friday afternoon, my thighs were slim. Now, they're all beefy and ugh, I hate it. I want to lose the muscle mass.

I want them to be slim, not buff and thick.

From what I understand you have to lower the weights to less, and do more repetitions of less weight.

Don't be too concerned right after lifting. You get a 'pump' from lifting due to a rush of blood into the muscle tissue which bulks it up. If a few days later the bulk hasn't gone away (any bulk you're not happy about anyway) then decrease the weight you're working with. Lower weight, higher rep will keep the muscle toned without building it.
