sit-ups and push ups EVERY day?
hi all,
i know that it isn't a good idea to do weights on the same muscle group every day as your body needs time to recover and rebuild the tissue to a bigger size than the original. but my question is, does the same apply to sit-ups and press-ups? is it okay to do them every day without reat days inbetween, od do you need to rest them as well? is it different because you're not using weights?
No, its the same you need rest days, its like working any other muscle, it needs recovery time. Working your abs 3 days a week with a day rest in between is probably best. You will not get any more results by working them more.
