Protein

What do they mean when they say "1 gram of protein per pound of body weight"?

Re: Protein

that per day, you ought to get 1 gram of protein per pound of your body weight. i.e. 120 pound person should aim for 120 g protein per day (if exercising/building muscle). .7 to .8 grams per pound is suffucient usually for basic fitness.
