Upon advice that I've read on this board I went out to buy the Body For Life book today. However I discovered that there is one written just for women as well. I was just looking for some advice as to which one would be more beneficial to me? I glanced through them both, but didn't have the time to look in depth at them. Should I go for the one for women or the general one? Anybody who has either of these books have any advice? Thanks in advance for your help.
Honestly, the original is just as effective for women as men. I'll peruse the women's volume with a little more scrutiny and see if theres anything of exceptional value, but basically what will work for the goose will work for the gander. The overall program and format is a very good one.

Agreed. As far as exercise and nutrition is concerned, the only difference a woman needs to make is the amount of food she consumes. The only reason to make a Body For Life book for women is to make more money.
I have the original, love it. If I were you, I would get this one. That way it is for both male and female member of your household. Not that anything would be different, except portion size, and the workouts/weight lifting amounts etc. Enjoy, oh also you can get eating for life which is good. Again thank you for all the great advice! I'm going to buy the orginal the next time I go shopping. Also thanks for suggesting the Eating for Life book. I'll definately look into it.
