Excercising in General.

From the last thread I posted in this category, I've seen that there are helpful people here, so thank you. Someone recently said to me that they'd rather me get a Yoga video, than a Pilates video. Why's that? They say Yoga is better.

I no longer have access to a tredmill because of a few changes... and I can't run outside because this town is a very bad town. I can do other things though. I heard something about jumproping/jumping jacks can help. Crunches and sit-ups too... I just need something to do, that will help me to lose inches or JUST A FEW lbs. I just need to lose like 5! That's all!
Please help. Thank you.

Diet diet diet!
But as far as exercise, jump rope is excellent. Jumping jacks also. Literally anything that keeps you moving and keeps heart rate up for 30 minutes at a shot will be helpful for fat burning. Videos can be helpful too so you have some variation of routine. Look into plyometrics as well. All body weight exercises that will keep your heart pumping.
