head colds & working out
I was wondering if anyone knew what to do in the case of a head cold.
To back it up a bit, almost 3 weeks ago I got a back injury, and layed off exercising for about a week, until i felt better.
I was immediately struck with a nasty head cold (for over a week, now) and since then, I've only had 1 run. (in 3 weeks!)
I normally exercise 5-6 days a week, (running, weights, stretching) and...
The problem is that I've been feeling SO lazy... and I want to try and "tough out" a run, but is that really the best thing? Or should I continue to rest? Should I do a slow, short run, instead?
