Red Meat

hey my nan said the only way to get stronger is eat red meat, i dont like red me so will white meat do?

That totally false. There are more B vitamins and iron in red meat, but I'm a vegan and still build and maintain muscle. Just keep a balanced diet and get enough overall protein.

I eat tofu, beans, nuts, brewer's yeast, broccoli and use protein shakes.

also barley, buckwheat, millet, quinoa, rye..alot of whole grains have protein..Lisa

You can achieve great muscle building results from eating chicken and tuna. I know body builders who never eat red meat, only chicken and tuna. It is the protein with low fat that give you the benefit.
