Pain in my leg!!! OW! - Exercise & Fitness Message Board

HI,

I am a really active person and last Wednesday I woke up with a very uncomfortable pain in my leg. It was around the ankle area and didn't feel like a muscular pain, it didn't hurt anymore when I touched it or used it, it just constantly hurt.

So I decided I wouldn't run that day. Next day it was the same and so again I didn't run. On the next day (Friday) I decided to try to run and my leg felt very , very weak and it hurt so I stopped. Also now the pain had travelled, my ankle was no longer hurting but the pain was in my knee and hip. I gave it a few more days and managed to run for 7 miles on the Monday. But on the Tuesday it was worse than ever and I couldn't even go for a walk.

The pain seems to move about from my ankle, knee and hip, all in my left leg. It doesn't seem to hurt anymore if I use it (but perhaps a little more when I am running). But it does hurt more after the exercise had finished. It feels liek my leg is exceptionally weak when walking and running

Any ideas what it could be?

If you don't specifically remember doing anything that could have caused this pain, I wouldn't try to out smart it. Just go see a doctor and get it checked out. You could try a chiro if there is one you know and trust.
