naxis or max some misc. questions

OK I've been back in the gym now for 3 months gettin back alot of strength and size along with staying cut. I would like to know some "different" excersizes or routines could do on my weeks when i want to change up my work out for a week (all body parts). I have been changinmy bulking and ripping up days but i still only do the same basic workouts. I see some of the older guys doin alot of brain crushers on a decline, and im basically just lookin for some of the diff moves like that where i can change it up but still keep the effectiveness. Ne of your "secrets", experience, and knowledge would be appreciated. Also i have been familiar with the mini pumps at the end of my sets but i have seen some guys with a trainer doing sets of like half lift half lift full lift is this a strenght technique and do u think it would be efficient for me(wanting to stay cut, gain mass but not get too bulky, and steadily gain strength). thanks guys

You can do drop sets, pyramiding, 5x5's, GVT (german volume training), forced reps, or even throw in some plyometrics. There are samples and exapmles of these workouts all over online if any sound interesting.

Like Naxis preluded too, there are tons and tons of different training methods and "tricks" in the bodybuilding world. The best thing to do is try out different methods and different techniques and discover for yourself what you like, don't like, and what works/doesn't work.

Personally, I have found that the most basic compound free weight movements, when trained with enough intensity and focus, will yield unending results faster and more efficently than any other complex scheme or weight lifting "tricks." I have used the same exercises week in and week out for over two years.

I totally agree. But I understand boredom with the routine. Don't skimp on the big exercises, but throwing in a little variety can kill a dull streak.
