Question Does walking firm your butt and belly ???

Hey all

Yes, I'd like to know if walking on the Treadmill, and steps up and down, a few times a day
help firm the butt, and if one can lose and trim that potbelly with those two excerises ???

I walk the treadmill alot. I guess being a guy, and trying to lose alot more than just those areas I never really paid attention, but I have noticed a change in those areas. I do an up hill 60 minute walk daily on it. But I alsodo alot of squats, and karate exercises that works those areas (like Tae Bo) so I would still do the walking (or runnig), but maybe add some squat exercises in as well.
