Should I avoid running 2 days in a row in order to give my body a rest? Are there any steps that I am not taking to avoid back pain or injury? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |
Are you stretching? A good stretch routine before and after your workout is one way. They have tons of stretch videos.(yoga, which is EXCELLENT for ********.) Plus, one way to strengthen the back is to lay on your tummy, put your hands on your forehead with your arms(really your elbow is out) out like you have wings(the top part of your hand is on your forehead, not your palms), keep you legs and tummy on the floor but lift your head and chest area off the floor like your doing sit ups but it's the other way around and your not lifting your abs. It really strengthens my back cause I do sit ups.hope this makes sense. You did say that you warm up but do you stretch before and after your workouts?
