Personally I would incorporate weights along with the cardio. Muscle burns calories just to sustain itsself. Ergo...you loose fat alot quicker because your metabolism is more efficient.
Fat takes up five times as much space as muscle. So it follows that if you loose the fat and build muscle you will look thinner and more toned without even loosing a pound!
I have a friend who started weight lifting 6 weeks ago. What a body transformation!
