Why are my scales going up???
I have lifted weights for a couple of years and stopped for the last 3 months due to pregnancy. Now last week I began again and today I was 5 pounds heavier, I haven't changed a thing I was doing or eaten extra calories so why this increase and when will it level off. I am trying to lose a bit not gain. I am always in great shape and wish to get back to that asap now that baby is two months old. I know everytime I start or change the weights I gain a bit of weight I guess it is water retention or muscle swelling but I can't remember how long that lasts. I need to lose 10 pounds, should I just do cardio to get back to my 115 first then do some weights?
