For all you folks out there looking for "the answer," I have been doing a little research on a diet regimen called CKD (Cyclical Ketogenic Diet). I have not tried this yet myself, but I thought I might pose this as an option to any of you that are looking to try something kind of new. The premise is that 5 days a week, you maintain ketosis (super low carb) and 2 days a week, beef up the carbs to replenish glucogen stores. This is supposed to be ideal for weight lifting as to avoid the energy drop often associated with carb restriction so you can still push it in the gym while dropping the fat. The timing and type of carbs for Carb-Days appears to be important, so it may be a bigger hassle than many would want to put themselves through.

If you're interested, just do a little research, there is all manner of info out there on this right now. I'll post anything I can find if anyone is interested.
