Mountain Dew? That doesn't make any sense. Caffeine has been purported to help the fat burning process but ALL THAT SUGAR is ridiculously counterproductive. A cup of coffee is probably a better idea. I prefer a low-dose thermogenic (ECA stack) for both fat-burning and upped energy.
Caffeine speeds up your metabolism and ups the heart-rate, which is the goal of cardio, so if you start with a slightly higher heart-rate, it takes less time to get it to the right place for "fat burning zone".
