I recently started adding walking to my current excercise routine of going to the gym 3 times a week. I walk 2 miles at a brisk pace for me as I was blessed with short legs! Grrrr! My question is this, does anyone know the approximate time it takes, and I use this term loosely, a "normal" person to walk a mile? Not everyone can run a mile in 5,10 or even 15 minutes for that matter as everyone is different. But is there something that I can kind of loosely base my progress against others while monitoring my own progress? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
