Yeah, i'm sure everyone's heard that, but i don't believe it so much. Even if it is true though, the after effects are better if you're jogging than if you're running because your cardio was more intense. But if you want a good workout and can handle running, do jogging, never walk unless you don't want to risk the strain on your knees and stuff of running, but have a base jogging speed, and then every now and then do runs to certain points, place visual markers and run to them, then go back to your jogging pace. It's a good way to work that cardio endurance. I found out my recovery time was pretty good the last time i did it, too bad i can't run worth crap anymore since i got sick.
