Post has anyone ever taken steroids?

my friend an i are thinking about taking steroids for two weeks. My friend wants to gain like 30lbs of muscel and look kinda like hulk hogan. I just want to gain like 10lbs of muscel, mainly get my arms bigger im totally stoked on my body. Im not wanting to look like the dude on the front of the body building webpage or anything.

We both know this one guy that took steroids for two weeks and he got as big as he wanted to be then quit. The guy said afterwards its been the best 3 years of his life and girls dig his body. I can understand it screwing up my body if i took them for along time but i dont see any harm in taking them for a 7 to 14 days. I dont want to take creatine because i heard all the sugar causes pimples, then i cant take protien shakes because they have too much dairy stuff and that messes up my stomach so i figured ill give steroids a shot.

i know it will lower the sperm count but im guess that goes back up when you stop. Then i dont think ill have to worry about getting fat after stoping it. I ride my bike all the time and right now i have no fat on me at all.

if you have any thoughts shoot them out there.
hopefully i'll remember i posted this. I hardly get on the internet.

i dont think one week will mess up my dick size, even if it did i could sacrafice an inch i guess lol.

If you're thinking about taking steriods, I'd do my research. "Guessing" about the effects a drug is going to have on your bodt isn't very clever.

steroids, in my opinion are sheer stupidity unless you are a competetive athlete or pro body builder.
You obviously need to do ALOT more research.
You seem so concerned by the sugar you take creatine with causing pimples...do you realize that one of the side affects of steroids is severe face and body acne??

I agree, you need to do more research. Its the uneducated steroid users that bad things happen to. Steroids taken properly yield great results with NO PROVEN effects. You have to look into drugs for the liver, anti estrogen, and something to get your natural testosterone going once you end your cycle. My recommendation would be lift educated for a good 3 - 5 years and then consider doing a cycle.

AND BTW, you're not going to gain 10 lbs of muscle in 14 days steroids or not, get real.

I won't even look at steroids. It has become a very big thing around here. Ex-football players of mine that graduated 4 years ago from high school started on it hard (for how long I don't know). When I came home from college this weekend, one of them had died due to a heart malfunction. The obituary is not telling who it is right now and a bunch of my weightlifting buddies are just speachless. I wouldn't even say do more research, I'm saying don't try it at all. It is a known risk that you don't know the outcome of. You don't know whether you'll die, lower penis size, the list is endless. JUST DON'T DO IT!

But, I do recomment NO2 as one of the other posts said. I took it for nearly a month and saw wonderful gains. All the smart weightlifters down here use it. Taking steroids is just not worth dying for.

I wouldn't advise taking steroids. There's a much safer and drug free way of getting big. You gotta eat, eat, eat. Over eating can give you a big increase in muscle mass. Simply put, to get big, you gotta eat.

If you think taking Creatine is going to give you pimples, you should see what taking steroids wil do to your skin...and hair...and penis...and so on. Get the picture?

Hey, a few question if i may ppl.

1. I used to have fairly bad acne a while ago an i used to take Creatine when i was 16, at which time i was already spotty. But now im clear of it an im 18. Ive jus done the 1st week bulk stage of Creatine an i aint seen no spots so far. If Creatine's gonna cause that do u think it wudda shown in the first week? Or will it maybe show in a few weeks? I may have to rethink takin it.

2. Will this NO2 your all on about have any affect on acne and what is it exactly?

Thanx all.

creatine does not cause acne. the sugar you take as a delivery *may* cause acne. But its not like your taking in a hugely massive ammount of sugar..i really dont know what all the fuss is about here. heck, there are even people out there that will tell you that diet has absolutely nothing to do with acne.

You don't actually even need to take creatine with a high suger drink. It was used for years before without it. The sugar creates a glucose spike in your blood which makes your body produce an insulin spike to deal with it. The insulin helps your muscles to absorb the creatin better. But you can still get huge benifits from creatin if you don't want to take it with a high sugar drink.

Basically, NO2 gives you a permanent pump i.e. the tight feeling across your muscles after you have a hard workout from the blood rushing into them and inflating them (hemodilation). This is a natural process which occurs in your body. NO2(nitric oxide) lets you achieve this all the time and when in this state, your muscles can grow faster and bigger. Your body produces nitric oxide naturally anyway (eg when you get a natual pump from lifting weights) but this effect only lasts a little while, until your body realises it is't using the muscles any more. NO2 apparently also increases endurance and allows more intense resistance training sessions. I've not used it yet and it seems to be getting mixed reviews. Some say they love it and it's the best supplement out there, while others say it doesn't do anything. I'm gonna give it a go and see what happens though. I don't think you are supposed to use it with ephedrine though as you don't get the full benifits.

Hmmmm, ive never used Creatine with anythin but water, thats all it sez to do, i prefer the tablets to the powder an it sez jus swallow with water.

So i guess that means theres no potential acne problems ahead! Phew!

Thanx guys.

I may try that NO2 if i ever see it, sounds good.

Steroids aren't as dangerous as most people think. It is how they are abused that make them deadly. Most people that have problems with them stack them heavily. Oral pills are very harsh on the Liver and don't stay in the system as long as the injectable type. I have never tried them, too afraid of the purity, too many stories of black market stories. I would recommend not touching them but it is your decision. It feels more rewarding earning your muscles with lots of food and lots of hard work. Also remember Safty First!!

Your exactly right about the NO2. People have given it mixed review. When I took it I recieved no acne, large muscles, and a great body. You can't take NO2 with hydroxycut or xenadrien because there ephendrine in it lessens the effects.

The guy who created NO2 actually recommends that you take them together (he also claims to have created creatine, but i heard this is false?)

First off its the uninformed people who abuse steroids that encounter problems. Everything you talk about is addressed with anti-estrogens and medication to alleviate the stress on your liver. And your penis isn't affected by steroids. Some cases of testicular atrophy occur but like I said that is when people don't use the other medications they're supposed to when doing a cycle. Bottom line is, if you decide that some point in your bobybuilding lifestyle that you want to use steroids, first make sure that you are knowledgeable about the subject (and not just from the perspective of anti steroid propaganda)

Re: has anyone ever taken steroids?

There is one definate side effect of steroids that cannot be addressed by taking the proper dose or other drugs. It's jail!!! That's right, JAIL. Steroids are punishable by the same fines and jail terms as cocaine and heroin.

*And that should solve any other conversation about it! However, there are still those who continue breaking the law!
