Your a buck fifty and you want to use the atkins diet? How tall are you? At 150, wouldn't you want to beef up a little?
Anyway, the atkins diet is simply some short term solution which I'm not really a big fan of. Its a lot harder to follow through with than you think.
If you do indeed want to lose weight, I can't imagine that you'd want to lose a lot so just take the simple cardio and clean diet route.
It is a foolish and naive choice to try fad diets before doing the simple things like exercise and good diet.
By "ripped" are you wanting to gain muscle or shed some bf or what? Be more specific so people can help you out better.
