Post Poor pec development

I feel that my pecs are behind in aspects to my overall muscle size. So I want to devote some extra time building them. Would it be alright if I worked them every other day? Or would that be overtraining?

Also, I get about 90-100 grams of protein a day. I weigh 175LB's. Could this be having a big effect on the results I see from the gym?

You will be overtraining if you work out the same muscles every day. Most serious BBs work each part only once a week. Muscle grows while it is at rest, not at work. Go with fairly heavy weights and reps in the range of 5-8.

If you are looking for growth, it is usually suggested you go with 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight.

Ok, so if a person is looking for growth, yet doen't get 1 gram/kg/bw of protein, will their gym efforts be worthless?

Not worthless, but not optimal.

I made very fast progress by just taking ~2/3 grams of protein per lb. of body weight.

BTW, assuming your the average person, your body can only utilize ~30 grams of protein every ~3 hours. Also, try to stick w/ protein w/ a high BV rating. HTH
