Post Building muscle seems so complicated

Everytime that I think taht I'm doing something right I then read something that tells me different. Is there some kind of book or some kind of reading that will give me the hard core facts about building muscles, and cutting properly with diets and stuff like that?

It's easy

Youe eat - You lift - You grow...

Consume 1 gram of protien per Lb/Bw per day
Don't work the same muscle group 2 days in a row
Eat healthy
Get atleast 7 hours of sleep every night
Have determination, dedication & dicipline

It's not hard

Read as much as you can as BD is not set in stone. Eventually, you will see a correlation between all the info and it will begin to make sense. Then customize it to fit your own needs and desires.

How can I be sure of exactly how much protein I take per day. I know i can calculate that through my protein shake but what about food though.

i use fit day
run a search for it and sign up for free. you enter the foods you eat everyday, and it breaks everything down and totals it up for you.

One thing's for sure. Stay away from the magazines that are more for show than information.... none of those mags are good resources.

get 250 grams of protein down you in food forget shakes food makes better results animal protein meats get a product called l-argine from the health shops take one tablet before bet everynight it releases growth hormone you'll grow.

You need to take about 10g of Arginine a day to have that effect. Most caps have about 500 mg in them which does nothing. If you want to use it, get it in bulk in powder form. You can get it in big tubs for not very much money.
Also, yes natural animal protein is better but 250g of protein is alot of meat. Also, animal proteins are generally digested slower so when you need to supply your muscles with protein quickly eg post work out, it may not be as effective as having a whey protein shake.

Isn't ingesting 250 grams of protein a day just a tad bit to much? True the protein is great for promoting leaness and for helping muscles but wherever u are getting it from meat, protein shakes etc. is also most likely gonna have a high amount of calories and fat content. So if you are getting that amount of protein a day you'd have to workout for hours just to keep your body in balance and prevent gaining weight is it really worth it?
