If your losing fat from other areas, you're not doing anything wrong. Your body just likes to store its fat on your chest. It may be the last area on your body that you'll notice significant improvements on but you will eventually lose it if you keep at it.
Oh, also, you know you can't spot reduce fat right? Doing pectoral exercises won't burn fat from your pecs. It'll only develop the muscle under the fat.
