Question my routine/diet

I weigh about 150 lbs. and i would like to weigh about 130, so i designed my own diet and excercise routine.

I've been trying to eat about 1000 calories or less (usually two meals a day and no snacks) and only water (ocassionaly juice). I've been trying to keep my meals pretty healthy, but not deprive myself completely.

Every morning (7 days a week) i speed walk one mile.
Then 5 nights a week, i speed walk 2 miles (on top of my mile in the morning) and do 100 situps.

on top of this, i work 3 nights a week at root-beer drive-in and i have to rollerskate for at least 4 hrs each time.

Is this routine going to help me lose weight over time. I was hoping to lose 20 pounds over about 3 months. btw, i'm 16--that might make a difference.

I tried something like that and it worked for me.
But it is not healthy. It is more of a fix.
i tried that for a week and I slowly increased my calories intake. +200 more every week.

You do lose fats, but you are losing muscles too.
So I dont really recommend you do it.
Your weight sound healthy.

If your calorie intake is too low, your body will go into "stavation mode" and you wont lose any weight. The lowest you should go is 1500 calories per day. Take your bodyweight and times it by 10, to get the amount of calories to lose weight. Or even 11 or 12 times your bodyweight.

Also, you should be eating 5-6 small meals per day. Thats like 5, 300 calorie meals per day. If you only eat twice a day, your starving yourself and losing energy and muscle. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn, so you want to keep as much muscle as possible. Plus, with all that cardio, you need the energy.

Starting to weight train is also advisable to preserve muscle and make you look more defined. If you follow these guidelines, chances are you'll lose 15-25 pounds in three months. Just stick to it. Faith is everything.
