The best excercises that I found to lift and firm the butt are leg lifts and butt crunches. The leg lifts can be done standing, hands on the wall and lift your leg behind you. Ankle weights add more to the work out.
Butt crunches are done by laying flat on your back, kness bent, feet hip width apart, hands on the floor at your sides. Slowly lift your butt, keeping back straight, and sqeeeeeze while youre lifting.
Both of these helped quite a bit when trying to fight gravity and lift that rear end back where it should be.
