Question ? regarding protein dieting and the use of supplements

Hi all,

I am trying to gain muscle while lose fat, I began by running 5 miles/day 4 days/wk, this has been pretty affective as I have lost ~10lbs in the past 6 weeks. About two weeks ago I began a circuit weight training work out and do that 3 days/wk rotating that with my cardio that I now limit to 3 days/wk.

I have begun taking 19nor5 Andro pills as well as Whey supplements. I have also recently begun the Atkins diet. At this point I have the dedication and consistency needed to attain my goal, but I am not sure if I am going about it the right way.

I am aware that Andro has some side affects, but I have taken it before and am not *too* concerned about them, what I am wondering is whether or not I should be doing the andro compounded with the Whey and All Protein/No Carb diet. Is this okay? If not, what do you suggest I should do to reach my desired goals?

I have read several threads on here, and many of you seem very knowledgeable/experienced on matters like this. Any advice you could give would be appreciated, its darn near impossible to get this kind of info on the internet without being assaulted by popups for what is ultimately just a sales pitch.

First of all you need to understand one very simple truth. You CANNOT gain muscle and lose fat at the same time in any significant way. This is why body builders since the beginning of time have had bulking phases and cutting phases. The problem with the supplement industry and much of the marketing is many products and companies push the claim that you can do both at the same time and it simply isn't true. Truth be told no supplement is going to add any weight to you without a really good diet and lifting routine and no weight loss supplement is going to help you take off any weight without proper exercise and diet as well. To my knowledge I've never heard of a "gain lots of muscle, lose all the fat at the same time" diet.
